    16G turbo problem

    yeah another problem... whenever i run the car there is no rev limiter... keep in mind i am stock... when i hit 6.5k the turbo sounds like it is going to explode and believe me it does not sound good...

    i am going to schedule an appointment

    i have only drove it up to 8.2k

    8200 rpms!!!! stock? WOW

    Are you getting any fluttering or anything like that? Also do you have a boost gauge?

    no completely stock... i don't even have the BOV on it

    your sure u were doing 8200rpm??? cuz the EVO goes in the red line and the rev limiter is at 7800rpm..............weird, please keep us updated, maybe you have a crazy fast evo.......loool

    not really i am still stock so my car HP still dives after the plateau of 5500 rpm

    thats weird cuz HP should fall after 6500rpm(motor trend)

    "when i hit 6.5k the turbo sounds like it is going to explode and believe me it does not sound good..." sound like you have too much play in the turbo, time for a rebuild take it to the dealership as soon as you can because if it is the turbo shaft, having too much play, then you could break one of the fines and have it go through the motor, that wount be good. If i were you i wouldnt gun it or take it to high RPM's till you get it checked. Good luck i hope they fix your problem. As for the rpm thing it could be something to do with your ecu which could have also caused the turbo to go by allowing it to run over its limits.
