Anybody going? I'll be there laying the smackdown to any STI's or SRT's looking to run. Looking for an SRT-4 to race because I'm tired of all the "stock Evos" losing to modded SRT's. Bring it. :D

yea what aaron said more info!... ill definately be there to lay the smack down with you... i should be running mid 12's also... just a question about MIR though... 12 secs = have to wear helmet right? i know roll cage is 11 secs at MIR... and capital is any 13sec cars have to wear helmets...

p.s. aaron... didnt get a chance to see the dcevoclub liscense plate frames... i want one for this race to represent dcevoclub =P

uhm i have a helmet but i ran low 13's at captial and didn't once wear a helmet they never said anything,

i need more info, if we could get like 4 evo's that would be bad ass

Ok, heres some info. The event is a combo betweem IMSTAR and the IDRC. The reason they're combined is because the IDRC was canceled due to weather earlier in the year so they decided to mix them up. Heres the website with some info on the event.

Like always you can run in bracket or heads up (turbo class) but if you want to win then you better enter bracket. There is also a fun run class which enables you to run in the practice sessions against other cars but you won't be in the competition.

I won the bracket class a month ago at Battle of the Imports there so come and give me some competition. There is also a team challenge so we can all get together and challenge another team. (STIs, SRT's, etc)

BTW, you need a helmet for 13.99 and lower. You will get one warning from them then you will be kick out if you do it again. 11.49 and lower you need a cage.

If had that Cusco twin-disk carbon clutch, I'd go for it. I bet I'd run low 12s right now...

That's ok. I made a few passes trying to track tune the car and ran a best of 12.93 @ 105 but my new clutch was slipping so I stopped running. :mad: At first, there was no vht on the launch pad so I was spinning all four tires. :( It was a nice day and I wanted to run lower but my $1700 clutch let me down. I think is was just overheating because it doesn't slip now. It only slips on the track after a hard launch.

Mods are:

3" Downpipe and exhaust
K&N cone filter for a Civic
SAFC 2 track tuned
Blitz boost gauge
MBC set at 20psi peak at 4000rpm
93 octane

BTW all this stuff is for sale. :(
