Hi my name is James, i'm from the Frederick(MD) area. I just purchased a 08 Lancer yesterday. I've visited this site before for cool kill stories and to read about all of the mods you all have done to your cars. I felt that now since I actually own a Lancer, I could finally join. Well I just wanted to introduce myself and I hope to see more 08 lancer owners in here really soon! Thanks.

No I haven't gotten a chance yet, my girlfriend took it out for the night to show off to her friends. But I will as soon as possible.

Its black. Had to get the ES though, girlfriend cant drive a stick and its her car to(all the GTS were sticks) :( but its got the nav system, sunroof, power everything, bluetooth, and the rockford-fosgate system in it. My friend just bought a lexus for about 45G and my Lancer has all the same options, just a few less horses and no paddle shifters for 21 haha.

My birthdays on the 4th so i'm tied up between my mom and April taking me out to dinner, but i'll definitely try to make it to the next one.

Ya jfLip, they do look nice. if I could afford an evo i would've gotten a used one right down the street, but the lancer will have to do for now. and i really like that nav system lol. :)

We've got people who don't own evos or lancers, or who never did. :)


Where do you guys post your next meets?

We have a meets section in the forums, but we also typically meet at Chik Fil A near Dulles Town Center on Fridays when the weather is good, around 6pm. It's right near McDonalds and I think Wal-Mart or Lowes.

Congrats on the new car. The new lancers definitely seem to be leaps and bounds beyond the old cars.

Welcome to the club! Great to see another Lancer owner up in here. I have an 03 Lancer. And I have to admit the new 08s look great, but I still love my little first gen US Lancer and wouldn't part with it for anything, not even an Evo.
