Whats up guys. I've had my Lancer for a while now and I've decided to get serious with the modding. I'm currently out of the country, but coming back this Spring and want to boost the Lancer. Any advice or help I can get from you local guys would be great stuff. Hope to see yall at some meets this Spring.

How's it going man!

The guys here are knowledgeable and really know their stuff.
The Shops and Vendors on this site have a strong presence as well.

Take care and keep your head down!

Thanks man. Looking forward to tapping into some of the knowledge on here and getting rid of the weaksauce rampant in it, lol.

Trust me bro, my head stays down, lol. Take it easy man!

Not sure how much experience we have with boosting N/A lancers, though. N1te and a few other guys can definitely help, but they don't visit the site that much anymore.

I may be wrong, but I think the majority of the feedback you'll get here will be that it's a losing proposition to boost your Lancer and that you could get way more for your money with a different platform. You don't have to get an Evo, but there are many other cars in the Lancer's category that are much better platforms for modding.

Yeah...it sort of depends on what you are looking for. If you want to have a lot of (import) power for little money, then your money will go much farther in a Honda or Acura and there will be a lot more knowledge online to get you there (Honda-tech.com, for example).

Until then, have fun with a lancer that you probably already have paid off. When do you get back? I'd be more than happy to help you boost man. Are you going back to Fort Belvoir? Quantico? Ft. Myers? I'm right in crystal city and know plenty about this car to help you boost safely for probably under 2k. I know all the options though. I'd love to help.

N1te, I'll be going back to Belvoir this Spring. PM on the way to you.
