I tend to agree we should not use SK's. Also I think we should set it up like a time trial. That way everyone is on a level playing field and not get slowed by traffic.
Juan will be up this weekend, he'd like to participate. I'll go over it with Mike

Hey, whats that REAL CAR track south of dulles airport. Everytime I fly the 01L or 01R approach into Dulles I fly right over a autocross (looks like one) track about a mile south of the runway touchdown point.

3 racers for Re:Vision have made it into the all time fastest laps at AllSports GP last month. These times were done at a Re:Vision Vs DTM race.
Mark, Eric W and Barry made it into the top 20 fastest times of January and into the top 50 of all time

Interesting seeing Greg Obadia in there - he's an excellent driver that won SCCA A-stock a few years in a row locally in his S2000. He creamed me at my one and only SCCA event in DC.

Yeah, it makes a big difference with such small, weak karts. I used to organize heat races with my company where we'd have 20-30 people doing heat runs with overall winners for 1-2-3. With a lot of experience, I'd usually have the fastest or close to fastest lap of the day and finish 1st overall combined with all the heats, but the last time I went was the first time my wife went, and she had the _2_ fastest laps of the day of everyone. She had no prior experience with any sort of racing or go-karts and no concept of "the line." She wasn't consistent enough to finish high overall, but she could bust out some nasty individual laps. The key is that she weighs 100lbs less than I do!
are these times using the 9hp karts or 6.5hp?

Damn, I can't get lower than about a 24.5 in the 6.5 carts, but I've only gone in January when the tracks were freezing. 21.7 is fasttttt.

ya, my fastest was a low 22. not fastest to make the top times, but still fast
I wonder in they would let my Birel to a quick lap...might just break traction all the way down the front straight.

You and me both! Unless it's a 125cc cart or bigger, I will NEVER be competitive because my power/weight ratio is murdered. Now if we had to do a bench-press competition beforehand, I might have a shot... LOL
Speaking of Greg Obadia, I remember him in his S2K. He was damn quick - he had a lot of FTODs, even against Z06s, etc.
