Metro ..... Friday night

nice seeing you guys there... 4 silver evos n 1 black... too bad everyone got blocked in and got tickets... it took me n my friend 1hr n 30mins to get out!!!
I'm thinking twice about bringing my evo down there now but I wanna race dat R32 GTR :D

Ya I was not to happy that I had to sit and wait while the cop considered giving me a ticket or not. But no ticket...YA!

What happen..Well Everyone was lined up at the Metro and racing and what not...it was cool until the cops came and then about 100 people started running for their cars...Ya that was fun...Then we caught up with "V8 Hunter" and parked in a gas station cause I need gas and the cops blocked everyone in. They started giving ticket and what not...exciting night, got home like 3am.

Yeah it was craziness. Pretty funny though! Alot of kids/ young teenageers. But yeah straight up Fast and the Furious. I got pulled over once while trying to leave to go to the gas station... didn't get a ticket *PHEW* so we were like ok lets go home :-). Then we get blocked in at the gas station LOL. Lucky none of us got any tickets. We were worried for MacEVO for a while though. HEHEHEH Being pulled over or stopped by the cops twice in one night was enough for me lol.

Oh guys, when we were driving back home LOL I know we scared the crap out of that guy that was trying to hang/run with us. It was him and 4 of us we surrounded him and boxed him in....hehehe it was pretty funny.

Sorry I had to bail on the Beltway... My wife called and wanted me home! It was cool to meet some of you guys, hopefully I'll be attending stuff semi-regularly. Memo's "penthouse" is definitely the place to go! That kid at the gas station (revved his station wagon at the light) asked me "Are you guys like car transporters for a dealership?" lol...

by the way, I just looked at my pics from Macy's and the gas station. they didn't come out that great, I'm going to have to start bringing my little tripod with me. I have a night exposure setting on the camera that takes amazing pics in low light, but the camera has to be totally still for like 5 seconds. I really want to get some good night lineup pics.

We tried to do the samething long time ago...
Since it gets darker by 5-6pm maybe we can meet sometime before that just to take some nice pics... i know couple places that we can take some pics with some nice views ;)

Sorry about metro...... there were alot of cops there !!! That ride home was fun thou.... wooo hooo!!!! tripple digets the whole way !!!! We will definately have to cruise again sometime soon.....

its underground drag racing basically at a metro station

Its an underground street racing spot that gets a turnout of about 1-3,000 people and about 2,500 cars every friday and saturday night in the summer time. Its pretty fun.... what happens is you go to a gas station and people start to drag race.... then the cops come and tell you to leave..... so you go to the next gas station.... and so on and so on ending up at the main drag strip. This is where the New Carlton metro station is and where the serious races take place...Skylines, Sylvias, you name it, its there.
It is a very large game of cat and mouse, and you have a pretty slim chance of getting caught.

We definately turned heads rolling in a possie of 5-6 Evo's. It was a fun time overall......

oh yea.. the friend I was there with dat night in the black civic hatch back... he's beaten Zs, srt's, wrx, and a STI! but then i can beat him by like 10 cars =)
