Aside from my damaged front end, I swear my RS feels very sluggish lately. I saw no visual damage to any engine hardware from my accident. Even pre-accident, my car felt somewhat sluggish, i.e. not fast. My boost seems to come on and hits 20 psi but it just does'nt feel fast. I'm planning to change to plugs, BPR7ES, since 4k miles ago. But, aside from it what else can I do?

I regularly change oil at 3k. I should change drivetrain fluids, never done at 25k miles. I'm also thinking of resetting my cam angles back to -3/-3 for aggressive setting. My intake and IC pipes are tied down with T-clamps.

What else should do?

I'd say dyno it. There's a thread for a dyno day next weekend.

great suggestion beast. The Extreme dyno day is only $50 including AFR and that will tell you where your power stands, especially in comparison with everyone else that day. The benefit of this is that you'll know if you're really losing power or you're just getting used to the power you have and it's feeling "normal"...

How did you do on the dyno?

I believe Warrtalon said he did 290.

I did 291whp/289lbs after I swapped my Forge bov with Clay's MR valve. I belive it was my Forge causing this sensation. I plan to get a MR valve. :)

Seems like you are 30 whp shy of where you ought to be. Maybe time for new plugs and scan to see whether you have timing being pulled?

EDIT: I see that you don't have a 10.5 hot side, so maybe 20 whp shy? Didn't you dyno at Turbo Trix a little while back?

Rich,
TT dynoed at 299whp with similar setup. I did install a new set of plugs prior to the dyno. I need to check for boost leak.

Another thing might be to verify your boost gauge. It could be reading high. I'm running about 21-22 on mine (MAP sensor), but the Defi gauge says 24.
