Well they finally posted some results from the 11/9 autocross at Rosecroft put on by the Saab club.

Which means I had to wait over 3 weeks to confirm what I already suspected, that my run was good enough to win A Stock and also set FSTD (Fast Stock Time of Day). :) Also, 2nd out of 111 in the PAX is a really good result. :D

Evos finished 1-3-4-5 in A Stock; not a bad showing. ;) Good job for wojo to pick up a podium spot -- his third run put the pressure on JW Todd, who went out and beat wojo's time but took out a cone, leaving him in 4th. 5th place went to dcvolki in his first autocross, with a time which would have put him 3rd in the Novice standings -- another great showing for the Evo. Daniel Ra took 8th in an Evo -- I think he had some faster times on his off course runs, but they don't post those times.

Next year, you probably won't see me at the top of the A Stock standings. After winning A Stock in the last 5 autocrosses I entered, I'm currently planning to retire my car from A Stock competition. For a couple of reasons, I'm planning to run Street Modified next year.

Hope to see many of you when the autocross season starts up again in the spring. :)

Nothing like tooting your own horn!

Just pointing out what the Evo is capable of doing in competition. :D

I give props to every Evo driver who is autoXing their car. We're all helping to show the world that Automobile magazine was right when they said:

...the little Mitsubishi sedan "unapologetically, uncompromisingly, unequivocally provides the most performance for the money of any car in the world."
