that's the most important thing about cars imo... fun to drive. :)
I'm waiting on a rear tie bar and a rear strut bar that PDXRalliart, from Evom, is making for me. Hopefully I'll have them by the end of the week. Stiffer ride = More fun to drive...

Hey everyone, my name's jimmy. I am from NOVA/MD What's up?
Welcome to the club Jimmy. What kind of lancer do you have?
Hey Jimmy glad to see you made it. N1te might have been the fastest lancer in the club but now I think your ride takes the prize. Welcome to the club and like N1te said tell us what you got going on with your ride.

Thanks guys, I hope to meet you guys and see your setups. What you guys have?
lol, I didn't realize I was the fastest but there is another brother in here, livelyjay who also has a turbo. He came from NY I think. Anyway, if you need help with the install if you're gonna buy a turbo let me know, I got 2 days install experience! I heard someone at evom is selling a turbo for 2100 shipped, might want to check that out.

Welcome n1te, I talked to you in awhile before. I just been busy with work and life so haven't been active with my lancer. Anyway, I got a OZ rally turbo if you were asking, I just recently installed the turbo.
Thanks guys, I hope to meet you guys and see your setups. What you guys have?

My setup is pretty simplistic right now for the engine: RRM SRI Intake, Magnaflow Catback, and a grounding kit from Groundfusion. And that's it. I'm going to hold out on the turbo for a bit and just stack my coins and figure out what I'm going to do with the car after I have some money saved up.
Other than that I have some sound stuff going on and tinted windows. A set of PDX Ralliarts bars (which I highly recommend) and I'm running on Toyo Proxes TPT on stock OZ rims.
This summer: I know for sure though that I'm going to get coilovers to drop the ride, get some RRM headers, and bored fuel rail.
Maybe next fall: purchase a used throttle body and a 4g93 mirage Intake Manifold and have it ported.
But I'm going slow on my mods... there's more important things my money could be going to right now.
On a total side note: Damn man I thought that me and Kurt were the only Lancer guys from back in the day on these boards, but you're member 10... Anywho, I really would love to see your set up and look forward to meeting you in person later this spring or summer.
I had no clue we even had a turbo lancer in VA. Well at least I'm the fastest N/A on these boards :D Hopefully work lightens up for you so you can come to some of these meets. Or better yet... we need a meet with just lancer peeps
Sup, I have an Oz Lancer and love this car!!! I am at Fort Belvoir, VA or Mount Vernon as some of you may know it as. I would like to get together with some you other lancer types. I am planning on hitting the track Friday if it doesnt rain so maybe i can put some numbers up soon.... Paul
Welcome Jotun. What do you have done to your ride so far?
Fox
Thanks Fox, well engine wise I have a cold air intake, rrm fuel rail, a Ractive header and a magna flow exhaust, I have also installed a stage 2 clutch for the hole shot I lightened my car up with a VIS CF hood a Cf Spoiler and removed the rear seats(temporary move) and any extra wieght such as spare tire and other random pieces, I stiffened up the chasiss with strut braces and dropped it about 1.75" all around with progressive springs which i plan on swapping for a coilover setup shortly. I also went and purchased 18 inch 3 piece rims from ADR they actually weigh about .5lbs less than the oz rim. I was worried about bottom end loss of torque but it was not noticable. Problem is i had to go with a 35 series tire so i am constantly worried about pot holes. But the ride is still good.
I have a 4G93 ported and polished manifold about to go on shortly to help with air intake in the front end of the engine. I have many more mods coming just waiting for the sponsors to kick in.lol
Jotun, where did you get your ported 4G93 IM from? I was interested in going that route.
Fox
Damn Jotun, you're doing well. Have you thought about engine management?
I got the manifold believe it or not from some guy on ebay for $40 its brand new. The guy bought it for his mirage and wrecked the hell out of it before he could install it. He was hurting for cash so my gain.
And as far as engine management thats my next install after the IM. I was thinking about the RRM piggy back but I have heard of some other ones out there not sure of the names though....
Greddy E-Manage and AMS which is 1200 bucks..
Is anyone going to the Car Meet on Sunday? I am talking about the one that is on the front page in Northern VA
Damn thats Expensive compared to RRM's
Greddy Emanage is about 200-350
Well here are some pics of my Oz they arent very good it was with my phone so they are blurry but you get the idea......

Nice looking car. Do you plan on blacking out the headlights?
Ohh yeah I am just waiting for the money. I would do it myself but dont really trust myself when it comes to putting my headlights in the oven.... I found a guy on evolutionm that will do it. He also puts tint on the orange running light it looks alot nicer than leaving it orange.

Hey DJ, welcome to the party.
Thanks
I got the manifold believe it or not from some guy on ebay for $40 its brand new.
Damn... did you port and polish it yourself? If not where and how much did you pay to have it done? I'd really like to get a new IM... I'm just trying to find stuff that increase acceration, so IM, TB, and headers to complete my setup...
Thanks Fox, well engine wise I have a cold air intake, rrm fuel rail, a Ractive header..
I didn't know Ractive made headers for our car. Where did you get those?
Fox
well they dont they make it for our block but a different model year its from a 97-01 Mirage. It was cheaper and I liked the design alot better it has better flow characteristics plus it is chrome. The biggest problem I have is that the o2 sensor is not on the header its on the downpipe and the down pipe doesnt fit our cars so I have to have a custom one built.
Now the Im well I got it finnaly and yeah i bought it ported and polished but the idiot who sold it to me said it was for the 4G93 but it was for the 4G63 blahh!!! So I am serching junk yards for one now and will do the work my self. Because I am in the military i have access to lathes and all of the equiptment i need to do it just have to find another one though...
